Directions
From Big Stump Entrance, Follow Highway 180 northward approximately 2.5 miles to the campground turn off. The campground access road is directly across Highway 180 from the Grant Grove Visitor Center.
Location Information
Sunset Campground lies in the Grant Grove area of Kings Canyon National Park. The facility encompasses 200 individual and group camping sites, open through the summer months. Reservations can be made for group sites, but individual sites are given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire pit and grill. The campground amenities include bear-proof food containers, drinking water and flush toilets. Dining facilities, showers and pay phones lie within one mile of the site in Grant Grove Village. Ranger programs and riding stables are also available in the Grant Grove area.
