Directions
From Scotty's Castle, Drive south on Highway 267 to the park entrance station. Immediately past the entrance station follow the spur road that bears right to the campground.
Location Information
The Mesquite Spring Campground lies in the northeastern portion of the park near Scotty's Castle. This site lies north of the Panamint Range in the Cottonwood Mountains. It provides access to hiking, mountain biking, and exhibit viewing. A rangers' station north of the campground is a good place to gather information about the park and terrain within it.

Mesquite Spring Campground consists of 30 individual campsites developed at an elevation of 1,800 feet above sea level. The campground is open for year-round use, but temperatures can be extreme during the summer months. Each campsite contains a picnic table and fireplace. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and a dump station.
