Location Information
The campground on Santa Cruz Island lies in the ten percent of the island that is administered by the National Park Service. The site is on the northeastern shore of the island. It is a flat, one half mile walk from the landing area to the campground. The facility consists of 40 individual sites, that can accommodate up to six people each. The sites contain a picnic table and have access to pit toilets within the campground. The sites are relatively close to each other, so expect crowded conditions if the facility is full. There are designated areas for campfires at this campground. Only duraflame logs may be burned in the fire pits. All water must be brought to the island. Campers must pack out all garbage as no receptacles are provided on the island. Reservations are necessary.
