Directions
From Highway 10, Follow Highway 10 eastward past Indio to Cottonwood Canyon Road. Turn left on Cottonwood Canyon Road, which leads into the park, and follow it until you reach the campground.
Location Information
The Cottonwood Campground lies in the southern portion of the park at an elevation of 3,000 feet. It provides access to hiking, road biking, picnicking and viewing exhibits. Other services in the Cottonwood Springs area include a visitor center, ranger station and backcountry registry.

The Cottonwood Campground contains 62 individual campsites and three group sites. Each individual site includes a picnic table and fire grate, as well as enough room for two tents. Group sites accommodate ten to 70 people. Campground amenities are as follows: drinking water, flush toilets and a dump station.
