Directions
From Beaver Creek, Proceed east on I-70 approximately 13 miles to exit 180, the East Vail exit. Turn right (south) from the off-ramp onto the frontage road. Follow the frontage road to the road closure gate, approximately 2 miles. The campground is adjacent to the gate.
Location Information
INTRODUCTION

Located in a forested canyon along Gore Creek, this campground is the most popular on the district because of its close proximity to Vail. Nearby, there are several trails into the Eagle's Nest Wilderness and the Vail Pass Tenmile Canyon Bicycle Trail.
