Directions
From Bridgeport, Drive 5 miles south on Highway 395 to the Green Creek Road. Turn right and follow the road to where it ends at the campground. The road that leads to the campground is a dirt road and can be fairly bumpy at times. However, most two-wheel drive vehicles can make the trip without any problem.
Location Information
Sitting at an elevation of 7,500 and located along the California/Nevada borderline the campground can be found alongside Green Creek and is noted for its excellent fishing opportunities. With only 11 sites it provides an area that is less crowded and usually a little quieter than some of the more popular campgrounds. Green Creek Campground is also a good access point to the Hoover Wilderness. It is only a two mile hike to Green Lake or a three and a half mile hike to either East or West Lakes. These lakes provide excellent photography, hiking, and fishing opportunities.

Activities and Facilities: 11 camping units, fishing, wildlife viewing, photography, hiking, fresh water and vault toilets.
