From Verlot, Travel east along Mountain Loop Highway to the trailhead on the right.
Location Information
Monte Cristo Campground, located at the southern end of the Darrington Ranger District, features 8 Tent-only sites, picnic tables, campfire pits, vault toilets, and garbage cans. The campground can only be accessed by a four mile hike to the campground. Hiking and biking trails exist at or near the campground.
