From Gilead, ME, Travel 3 miles south on SR 2, turn right (west) onto Wild River Road and travel another 5 miles.
Location Information
Wild River Campground lies in a fairly remote area along the Wild River near the Maine state line. Several hiking trails including Wild River Trail, Highwater Trail, Moriah Brook Trail and Basin Trail are easily accessed. Coldwater fishing opportunities abound within walking distance. All sites are first-come / first-served. Vault toilets only.
