From San Luis Obispo, Travel Highway 101, 8 miles north, Highway 58, 3 miles east, Pozo Rd. 16 miles southeast, Forest road 30S05, 4 miles southwest. Alternate route: 10 miles northeast of Arroyo Grande Forest Service Station off Pozo-Hi Mountain Rd.
Location Information
GENERAL INFORMATION: Located in the Pozo area the Hi Mountain camp offers eleven campsites with recreational attractions including: hunting, near access to Santa Lucia and Garcia Wilderness, along with off-highway vehicle opportunities.
Special Notes: Forest Road 30S05 may be impassable when Salinas River is high, use
alternate route noted above.
