Directions
From I-5/ Yreka, Exit I-5 at State Hwy. 96 approximately 11 miles north or Yreka. Travel west on Hwy. 96 approximately 7 miles along the Klamath river the campground.
Location Information
Located fifteen minutes from Interstate 5, Tree of Heaven Campground sits on the banks of the Klamath River at an elevation of 2,100 feet. The site has terrific river access, including a boat launch which is usable by persons with disabilities. There is a 1/4 mile paved Birding Nature Trail in
the campground with interpretive signs on migratory and local birds of the
Klamath Mountains. The Klamath River has year round trout and seasonal steelhead and salmon fishing.

Tree of Heaven Campground also offers a large day use area with horseshoe pits and volleyball. There is no charge for the day use area. There is an open-pit BBQ area, however, for which there is a reservation fee of $20. Reservations are recommended for the BBQ area as it is popular.
