From Orleans, Travel north on State Hwy. 96 for 24 miles to FS 14N69. This road is easy to miss and is located just just past a bridge that crosses the Klamath River. The turnoff is a ~ of mile before the Dillon Creek campground. Follow 14N69 for 2 miles to its end at a three wayintersection. Turn left onto 14N21. After several miles turn onto Road 13N13 (a dirt road) which will lead to the campground.
Location Information
Lake Oogaromtok, locally named Frog Pond, is a small lake stocked with trout. The drive to the campground is scenic and offers views of the river corridor below. The campground itself is a small one with just three family sites. The area is normally open from May through October. Overnight use is free, however, drinking water and trash removal are not provided. The campground can be difficult to find, so follow the directions with care.
