Directions
From Oakhurst, Take Highway 41 north until you reach forest road 10. Take this north for five miles until you reach forest route 6S40. Take this road for about a half mile south until you reach the campground.
Location Information
Greys Mountain Campground, at an elevation of 5200 feet, is located in the heart of the Mariposa Ranger District. The Campground has 26 sites with vault toilets on the grounds, but no potable water. The campground does require a fee for camping and parking. There is much hiking and fishing in close proximity to the campground. The nearby Fresno Dome can provide a spectacular view of the area. Nelder Grove, a grove of giant Sequoias is just to the north. The campground is also seven mile to the north of Bass Lake, a large recreation area.
