From Alturas, 13 miles east on Co. Rd. #56 to the Modoc National Forest Boundary, then another 6 miles on Forest Road 42N31 (Parker Creek Road), then south on the Pepperdine access road.
Location Information
This campground has always been a great spot for horseback riding through the woods. Pepperdine Campground is located about 20 miles east of Alturas. At an elevation of 6,680 feet, there are 5 sites that can accommodate up to a 22 foot RV. There are picnic tables and fire pits at each campsite. Road Access is via gravel and dirt roads. There are corrals for horses at the trailhead facilities.

The nearest food, gasoline, and restaurant are located in the town of Alturas. The nearest 24 hour services and hospital are located in Alturas.
