Directions
From Cedarville, On State Highway 299, seven miles west of Cedarville. One mile past Cedar Pass, on the left between the Summit and the Ski Hill. Look for a sign on the left side of the road. The turn-off is wide.
Location Information
Stowe or Stough Campground? No one seems to know which spelling is correct, so keep your eyes peeled for signs with both spellings. Close to Cedar Pass and the Cedar Pass Ski Hill, this campground has 14 RV/tent units available. There is a picnic table and fire pit at each campsite. Vault toilets and potable water is available. The road conditions are good getting to this site.

The nearest food, gasoline, and restaurant are located in the town of Cedarville. The nearest 24 hour service and hospital are located n the town of Alturas.

The campground is located on the Warner Mountain Ranger District and questions can be directed to 530-279-6116. The Modoc National Forest Supervisors Office can be reached at 530-233-5811.
