From Ukiah, Travel 6 miles north on US Hwy. #101, turn right (east) onto California Hwy#20 and travel for 5 miles. Turn onto County Road #240 and travel 26 miles northeast to Lake Pillsbury. Take Forest Route #20N01 around the Lake to reach the campground.
Location Information
Sunset Campground is located on the northeastern shore of Lake Pillsbury at an elevation of 1,850 feet. This campground has 54 sites with tables and stoves, toilets, pressure water system, trailer space and 27 grills. This campground offers fishing in the lake, boating and two resorts in the area. There is a nature trail directly across from the campground.Although this campground is located in the Upper Valley Ranger District it is operated and maintained by Pacific Gas and Electric.
