Location Information
This campground is the perfect spot for a day of fishing and or boating. Reservoir F is considerably smaller than nearby Big Sage Reservoir and is surrounded by juniper woodland and sagebrush. It also offers abundant recreational opportunities. A campground lies on the shore near the boat ramp. This campground has ten sites with a picnic table and fire pit at each site. There is no potable water and the roads to the campground are in good condition.

Birds find safe refuge for nesting on a number of islands scattered across the reservoir. Seasonally, one can watch the osprey hunt for fish. Reservoir F is also a discovery point for the California Back country Discovery Trail.

The nearest food, gasoline, and restaurant are located in the town of Alturas, California. The nearest 24 hour services and hospital
