Location Information
This campground is the perfect spot for a day of fishing and or boating. Reservoir C is considerably smaller than nearby Big Sage Reservoir and is surrounded by juniper woodland and sagebrush. There is no potable water and the roads to the campground are in good condition.

Birds find safe refuge for nesting on a number of islands scattered across the reservoir. Seasonally, one can watch the osprey hunt for fish. Reservoir C is also a discovery point for the California Back country Discovery Trail.

The nearest food, gasoline, and restaurant are located in the town of Alturas, California. The nearest 24 hour services and hospital
