Directions
From Payson, Travel 15 miles northeast on State Route 260. Just east of mile marker 269, at Kohl's Ranch, turn left (north) on Forest Road 289. Travel .25 mile and turn left into the site.
Location Information
This 17 unit campground is located near by Tonto Creek where trout fishing is a popular pastime for many who travel here. Hiking trail access is through the Highline National Recreation Trail via the Derrick Spur Trail #32.

The Tonto Fish Hatchery is located 4 miles north at the Arizona Game and Fish Department and is a great place to discover how the Forest Service restocks our lakes and rivers.
