Directions
From Fredonia, Travel 30 miles south and east at the intersection of US 89A and AZ 67. Blacktop highways.
Location Information
Most people come to this campground because it is located on the main access route to the Grand Canyon's North Rim 44 miles to the south . However, campers at Jacob Lake don't have to drive at all to take advantage of excellent opportunities for hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing. Right at your campsite you may catch a glimpse of the black bodied, white tailed, tuft-eared Kaibab Squirrel. It lives only in the North Kaibab District.

FACILITIES: Paved roads and spurs. 53 single unit sites with tables and cooking grills. Drinking water. Toilets (flush & pit). Handicapped facilities. Visitor Center. Nature trails. Concession services are available nearby. Services include: gasoline, supplies, restaurant, telephone, dumping station. The Group Camping Area is designed to accommodate two groups at a time.
