From Jacob Lake, 25 miles south of Jacob Lake on AZ 67, 7 miles north of the Park entrance to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Location Information
This National Forest Campground is located within the North Kaibab District just 7 miles north of the entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park's North Rim. In addition to the unmatched views available in the park, visitors to DeMotte campground can enjoy excellent scenery and plentiful wildlife on the Forest. The North Kaibab is known for its large mule deer and the black bodied, white tailed Kaibab squirrel which lives only on this isolated plateau.

Guided hikes and horseback rides are available at nearby concessions. A number of trails and roads provide access to the National Forest and unique views of the Grand Canyon.

Facilities: There are 23 single unit sites with tables and cooking grills. Drinking water. Toilets (flush). Concession services nearby & gasoline, supplies, restaurant, telephone.
