From Dover, Travel 14 miles north on State 7, turn left, follow gravel road .25 mile uphill to the trailhead/horse camp.
Location Information
Located in the beautiful northwestern portion of the state, Moccasin Gap Horse Camp is surrounded by a forest that is a mix of hardwoods and pine, with numerous streams and small waterfalls that is a part of the rugged mountain scenery.

Camping spurs are designed for 17 tents or recreational vehicles (with no hookups) , vault toilets, tether posts, fire rings, trash cans and a municipal water supply highlight this campground, 17 parking spurs for day use and overnight camping are provided.

There are 28 miles of horse trails with four different loops, and varying degrees of difficulty. Scenic views, waterfalls, bluff lines, pine and hardwood forests.
