From West Helena, Take Arkansas 242 (paved) northwest for 1 mile, turn right (east) on Forest Service Road 1900 for 3 miles.
Location Information
Located on the far eastern/central edge of Arkansas, bordering the Mississippi River at one point, lies the imposing Crowleys Ridge. With an elevation of only 40 feet, this ridge also sustains two large lakes, one of which is 420-acre Storm Creek Lake, which is the closest of the two to the mighty Mississippi.

There is camping aplenty for 12 families, either in a tent or in a recreational vehicle (no hookups). with such amenities as flush toilets and drinking water close at hand. Picnicking is available along with a swimming beach and bathhouse with showers. There is also a group pavilion available (no reservations - first come, first served basis).

Outdoor attractions include swimming, fishing and a barrier-free fishing pier, boating is also available with a maximum boat motor of 10 hp (Open April-Labor Day weekend). User's fee charged. No lifeguards are ever on duty, please be careful.
