Directions
From Safford, Travel south on U.S. Highway 191 to the town of Swift. Turn off onto State Route 366 and continue as it becomes Swift Trail Road. Turn north onto Forest Road #507. Follow this road to the campground.
Location Information
Located near Heliograph Peak in the Safford Ranger District, Shannon Campground sits at 9,100 feet and offers 11 sites at a trailhead. Restrooms and water are provided. There is a fee for overnight use of the area.
