Directions
From Lone Pine, Travel north on US 395 for approximately 13-14 miles to the town of Independence and FS 13S17. Turn west onto this road and continue for roughly 5 miles.
Location Information
Lower and Upper Gray's Meadow Campgrounds are located northwest of Lone Pine at 6,000 feet and, between the two, offer 55 camp sites. Nearby Onion Valley Trailhead access the John Muir Wilderness Area, California Bighorn Sheep Zoological Area, and Sequoia National Park. Fishing is also accessible. There are trailer spaces and drinking water provided at the campground. There is a fee for overnight use of this area.
