Directions
From Mt. View, Take Arkansas Hwy. 14 northwest for 16 miles; then right on Forest Road 1102 (gravel road) for 3 miles. Not recommended for large recreational vehicles.
Location Information
Located in the north central portion of the state. Camping is near a clear mountain stream with a small lake close at hand. High picturesque bluffs make up this beautiful area. The Blanchard Springs Recreation area is also nearby and can be accessed through the North Sycamore Creek trail. Fishing, hiking and swimming are part of this campgrounds features.

This campground has 27 sites. Access is via a steep, winding, dirt road, not recommended for large recreational vehicles. Chemical toilets and drinking water are provided. Many sites are located beside the creek. Be aware that creek levels rise rapidly during and after rain showers.

Primitive camping is allowed anywhere on Forest Service land outside of developed recreation areas. No permit is required. Campers are asked to keep campfires small and make sure they are dead out before leaving. Be especially careful of sanitary disposal and carry out all garbage.
