Directions
From Big Pine, Travel south on US 395 approximately 23 miles to the Mt Whitney Fish Hatchery Turn-off. Drive past the hatchery and, at the intersection of Forest Service Rds 13S03 and 13S04, take the latter to the right and continue for about 2 miles to the campground.
Location Information
Located roughly 25 miles south of Big Pine, this campground offers 22 handicapped-accessible sites and nearby trail access to the John Muir Wilderness Area and the California Bighorn Sheep Zoological Area. Reservations are recommended at this campground.
