From Placerville, Take Highway 50 thirty miles east, turn south at Kyburz on the Silver Fork Road. The campground is located 3 miles from Kyburz, on the Silver Fork of the American River.
Location Information
Sitting at an elevation of 4,800 feet Capps Crossing Campground is located adjacent to the Silver Fork of the American River. In addition to offering camping facilities, the site provides close access to fishing, swimming and scenic views.On site facilities: 18 camping units ( 1 double ), vault toilets, picnic tables and drinking water.
