Directions
From Placerville, Take Highway 50 east, until the junction of Ice House Road. Next travel 19 miles north along Ice House Road, then 3 1/2 miles west of Ice House Road. The ground is located on the north shore of the Union Valley Reservoir in the Crystal Basin.
Location Information
Sitting at an elevation of 4,900 feet Yellowjacket Campground is located on the northwest shore of the Union Valley Reservoir. In addition to offering camping facilities, the site provides close access for fishing, boating, swimming and picnicking.

On site facilities: 40 camping units, boat ramp, drinking water, vault and flush toilets, picnic tables. Dump station nearby.

Sites 1-19 may be reserved for dates 05/22 through 10/08 by calling the National Forest Reservation Center.
