From Placerville, Travel 20 miles east along Highway 50, turn north onto Ice House Road and travel 9 miles to a signed right turn to the Ice House Campground (two miles). At the campground, take the left fork of the road which will take you 7 miles east to Wrights Lake Road, then turn left, two miles to Wrights Lake.
Location Information
Sitting at an elevation of 7,000 feet the Wrights Lake Campground can located on the south shore of Wrights Lake. In addition to offering camping the site also provides access for water based activities including boating, swimming and swimming. Moreover the areas has opportunities for desolation trailheads and horseback riding.On site facilities: 70 units (3 double units), picnic units, equestrian camping. drinking water, and accessible vault toilets. Motor boats are not allowed on the lake. Call the Information Center for road conditions.
