From Carson, Take Highway 88 6.6 miles east ( or 2.5 miles west of the Highway 88/89 junction ). Take Blue Lakes Road 12 miles south. The campground is 1.3 miles past Upper Blue Lake Dam Campground.
Location Information
Sitting at the high elevation of 8,200 feet, the Upper Blue Lake campground is located on the northern shore of Upper Blue Lake. In addition to offering camping facilities, the site provides close access to activities such as boating, fishing, swimming and hiking. On site facilities: 32 camping units, vault toilets, drinking water and picnic tables. Caution: There are bears in the area and so keep all foods, soaps and garbage contained.
