From Bishop, Travel west on US 395 for about 30 miles to Forest Service Highway 12. Take the Tom's Place exit and follow Forest Service Highway 12 (Rock Creek Road) for about two miles.
Location Information
The Aspen Group Site provides camping space for one large group on the edge of the John Muir Wilderness of the Sierra Nevada. Reservations for overnight use are required and there is a $40 per night fee for use. Trailer spaces, drinking water, and restrooms are maintained.
