Directions
From Oakhurst, Take Highway 41 north until you reach forest road 10. Take this north for five miles until you reach forest route 6S90. Take this road for about a mile north until you reach the campground in the Nelder Grove Historical Area.
Location Information
This campground sits in the midst of the giant sequoia grove that is Nelder Grove. The campground also features an interpretive display and has seven sites and does not cost anything. Although you should know that there are vault toilets, but no potable water. In all there are 106 mature giant sequoias are intermingled with secondary pine, fir, and incense cedar in the grove.
