Directions
From Pasadena, Travel Interstate 210 north, exit the Angeles Crest Highway (Hwy2) and drive 14 miles to Red Box Ranger Station. Park there and walk through the gate on the Redbox-Rincon Road (not paved and hike in about 5 miles to campground.
Location Information
FACILITIES: There are twelve sites, picnic tables, vault toilets and fire pits provided. Seasonal stream water only (treat before using). Campfire permits required. Hikers, bikers or equestrian use only. Amenities: Two national recreation trails intersect just south of the camp. Scenic view of the West Fork of the San Gabriel River in pine woodlands. Water play and fishing opportunities.
