From Dover, Travel 6 miles north on State 7, then west on State 164 for 3 miles, then northeast on Forest Road 1801, 3 miles, then northwest on paved Forest Road 1804, 2 miles.
Location Information
Located in the northwestern portion of the state on the Big Piney Scenic and Recreational River. The large natural pool in Big Piney Creek is just across the campground, and with high picturesque bluffs a view is assured by all. Most of the campground is in a mature pine forest, while some sites are in a hardwood forest. There are 19 recreational vehicle and tent sites with no hookups, but vault toilets and running water is provided. The campground is finished with 8 picnic sites, a picnic pavilion, a canoe launch site and a change shelter. Fishing, hiking, swimming, canoeing and whitewater boating, are amongst some of the recreational highlights. A user's fee is charged.
