From Jackson, Travel 37 miles northeast on Highway 88, turn south onto Ellis Road, go 12 miles to the campground area. 1 of 3 adjacent sites on the Mokelumne River.
Location Information
Sitting at a 3,200 foot elevation, the Moore Creek Campground offers users the chance to experience semi-primitive camping. Additionally the site provides opportunities for fishing and swimming in the nearby water holes and river.On site facilities: 8 camping units ( semi-primitive ), vault toilets and picnic tables.
