Directions
From La Canada, Travel on Interstate 210 North to Angeles Crest Highway. Drive 9 1/3 miles north to the Switzer's Picnic Area. The trail camp can be reached by walking through the picnic area.
Location Information
FACILITIES: There are three sites with stove, no toilets, seasonal stream water (treat before using). Hike in only. Campfire permits Required. During seasonal fire restrictions only portable gas, jellied petroleum or pressurized liquid fuel stoves allowed. Adventure Pass required for vehicles parked at trailhead. Activities: Hiking and fishing (Bear Canyon Trail, Gabrielino National Recreation Trail).
