Directions
From Fairplay, Jefferson Creek Campground is located approximately 23 miles northeast of the town of Fairplay, Colorado. Visitors may reach this site by taking State Highway 285 north from Fairplay 17 miles to the town of Jefferson. Then drive west on County Road 35 for approximately 2 miles to Forest Developed Road 37. Travel northwest on 37 for approximately 4 miles to the campground.
Location Information
Jefferson Creek Campground is located approximately 23 miles northeast of the town of Fairplay, Colorado. This campground consists of 17 individual family campsites. The campsites each include a table, fire grate and parking spur. Campground facilities include drinking water, garbage collection and vault toilets. The nearest public telephone is
located in Jefferson, about six miles from the campground. The nearest fire and emergency services are also located in Jefferson. Nearby attractions include fishing in Jefferson Lake and Creek, and hiking the Colorado Trail.
