From Lake George, Riverside Campground is located approximately 2 miles southwest of the small town of Lake George, Colorado. Visitors may reach this site by taking County Road 96 south from Lake George 2.5 miles into Elevenmile Canyon.
Location Information
Riverside Campground is located approximately two miles southwest of the small town of Lake George, Colorado. This campground consists of 19 individual family campsites. The campsites each include a table, fire grate and parking spur. There are 8 walk-in sites. Campground facilities include drinking water, garbage collection and vault toilets. The nearest public telephone is located in Lake George, about two miles from the campground. The nearest fire and emergency services are also located in Lake George.

The campground is located on the South Platte River within 21 miles of
Elevenmile State Recreation Area and Reservoir and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. Recreation opportunities include: fishing (on the River's Gold Medal Waters) and the Reservoir; hiking, biking, horseback riding, motorcycling and four-wheel driving.
