Directions
From Colorado Springs, Drive 18 miles west on Highway 24 west to Woodland Park. Drive 3 miles north on Rampart Range Road to Forest Road 300. Travel south 2 miles to Springdale Campground.
Location Information
Springdale campground is located 1.7 miles east of Woodland Park on Forest Developed Road 300. The road and parking surface is gravel. The
campground has 14 camp sites. The elevation is 9,100 feet. A recreation-use fee will be charged from mid-May to the end of September.

The weather is generally mild with warm days and cool nights.
Summertime highs are around 80 degrees with the nighttime lows around 45 degrees. Afternoon thunderstorms are a common occurrence. The spring and fall weather is usually dry and sunny with highs around 70 degrees and the lows around 30 degrees.

Only 3.5 miles from the Rampart Reservoir Recreation area.
Also depending upon the time of day and year, various forms of wildlife may be observed.

Facilities include tables, fire grates, garbage dumpsters and
vault-type toilets. Firewood, shelter and water are not provided.
