From Steamboat Springs, Go west on US Hwy 40 to County Road 129. Travel 20 miles north of Steamboat Springs on Road 129 to Seedhouse road, just beyond Clark. Go northeast on the Seedhouse road (Forest Road 400) about 9 1/2 miles to the campground.
Location Information
Seedhouse Campground is located 30 miles north of Steamboat Springs, along the Elk River. The campground is 4 miles west of the Mt Zirkel Wilderness. An adjacent group campsite exists that can accommodate up to 30 people. See the Seedhouse Group Campground for more information. This area was affected by a large tree blowdown. Contact the Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District for current conditions. Facilities: Seedhouse Campground has 24 campsites with tables and fireplace grates, a water system (seasonal), vault toilets, dumpsters, and pull-thru trailer spaces up to 22 feet. Water and trash service normally terminate September 30.
