Location Information
Southside Campground is located at the Lake Isabel Recreation Area. (See travel
directions for La Vista Campground.) The campground is situated directly south
and within a few minutes of the lake. Southside contains eight family units
which are designed primarily for trailers and motor homes.

The facilities in this campground are in fair condition. Water is provided by a deep well and hand pump. Sanitation facilities consist of one double-unit vault toilet.
Trash collection is by a (2-cubic yard) dumpster on site. None of the sites
are accessible for wheelchairs. This campground does not conform with standard
design; the individual campsites are located close together, in a side-by-side
or trailer park arrangement. Southside has an average use rate of 40% for the
normal operating season.

Attractions associated with this site include nearby lake and stream fishing,
hiking, and table, fire ring and standing grill at each site. Roads are paved.
