Directions
From Westcliffe, Drive 3.5 miles south of Westcliffe to County Road 140, turn right and go another 4.5 miles. Turn left on County Road 141 and go 2 miles to the campground.
Location Information
Alvarado Campground is located approximately 10 miles southwest of Westcliffe on Highway 69. Go south of Westcliffe to County Road 140 and follow it for about 7 miles to the campground.

There are 47 individual family campsites and two trailheads here. Each campsite includes a table, fire ring and parking spur. Drinking water comes through a piped water system with hydrants scattered throughout the campground. There are six double vault toilets; all roads and spurs are aggregate surfaced. The site for the campground manager has electrical and water hookups. Trash is collected with contractor-furnished dumpsters. The facilities in this campground are in fair to good condition. Alvarado has a use rate of 47% during the normal operating season.
