From Yampa, 17 miles total: Travel W/NW on County Rd 17 approximately 5 miles to County Road 132/FH 16. Turn left and go about 9 miles to FDR 959/960. Go south on FDR 959/960 about 3 miles to Sheriff's Reservoir Campground.
Location Information
Sheriff Reservoir is a small campground in the Dunckley Pass area, 17 miles northwest of Yampa. It is located 3 miles off the Flat Tops Trail Scenic and Historic Byway, on FDR 959/960. The campground sits adjacent to Sheriff Reservoir.Facilities: Services are limited at this campground. Drinking water is NOT available. It does have trash collection, a restroom, and fire grates. The campground has 6 sites and a maximum spur length of 20 ft.
