From Yampa, 31 miles total: Travel W/NW on Routt County Rd 17 approximately 5 miles to County Road 132/FH16; turn left and travel about 26 miles to Vaughn Lake Campground. County Road 132 becomes FH16.
Location Information
Vaughn Lake Campground is a small campground in the Dunckley Pass area, 31 miles northwest of Yampa. It is along Forest Development Road 16, a portion of the Flat Tops Trail Scenic and Historic Byway. The campground sits adjacent to Vaughn Lake.

Facilities:

Services are limited at this campground. Drinking water is NOT available. It does have trash collection, a restroom, picnic tables and fire grates. The campground has 6 sites and a maximum spur length of 22 ft.
