From Foresthill, Travel 22 miles east on Mosquito Ridge Rd., turn south (right) onto Big Trees Rd. and proceed one mile to the picnic area.
Location Information
Big Trees Picnic Site is located 23 miles east of Foresthill at an elevation of 5,300 feet. This picnic ground has 3 sites with tables and grills, potable water toilets and a parking area. There is a self-guided nature trail that provides a guide to the native grove of Sierra Big Trees.
