Directions
From Crescent City, Take Hwy. 101 to the junction with Hwy. 199. Go east on 199 two miles past the Visitor Center. It is located at mile post 16.75
Location Information
Panther Flat, the biggest campground in the Smith River NRA with 39 sites, is located 21 miles from Crescent City. Amenities available include hot showers, flushing toilets, picnic tables, grills, and is staffed by a camp host. Some sites are wheelchair accessible.

A shady site with great views of the Smith River, this campground offers seasonal picking of Huckleberries and Blackberries. Both the campground and picnic area are open all year.
