Directions
From South Fork, Follow forest road 81 north for about 22 miles until you reach the campground. This campground is about two miles past the Mammoth Pool Road on forest road 81. It is a couple hundred feet off the road on the forest route 6S22.
Location Information
Little Jackass Campground is just past the Mammoth Pool Reservoir turnoff on the Minarets Road Scenic Byway. At an elevation of 4800 feet, this campground offers five camp sites. There is no potable water, but vault toilets are located on the campground. There are many creeks that are around the campground that offer good fishing.
