Location Information
Spicer Resevoir Campground sits in a timbered setting on the shore of Spicer Reservoir at 6,200 feet. Spicer Reservoir offers low-speed boating (boat launch available), and excellent fishing, hiking, and equestrian opportunities. The northern arm of the lake, adjacent to the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness, is managed for non-motorized recreation (canoe and kayak) opportunities.It has sixty campsites, tables, fireplaces, vault toilets and piped water. All sites are suitable for trailers or tents and several multiple units are available for small groups. Emergency medical services available at the Arnold Medical Clinic in the Meadowmont Shopping Center in Arnold, or at Mark Twain St. Joseph'sHospital in San Andreas (Hwy. 49). Gas, groceries, and camping supplies are available in Arnold, Camp Connell, and Bear Valley.
