From Oakhurst, Follow highway 41 north until you reach Ranch Road which is forest road 10. You will follow this until it comes to a T at forest road 7. Take this road north for about seven miles until you reach Upper Chiquito Campground.
Location Information
Upper Chiquito Campground is located about six miles east from Clover Meadow Campground on the Minarets Road Scenic Byway. At an elevation of 6800 feet, this campground offers 20 camp sites. There is no potable water, but vault toilets are located on the campground. There are many creeks that are around the campground that offer good fishing. Trails are all around the campground for some nice day hikes. There are no fees charged for this campground
