Directions
From South Fork, Follow forest road 81 north for 20 miles until you reach Mammoth Pool Road. This will take you to Mammoth Pool Reservoir. The campground is located at the end of this road on the shore of the reservoir.
Location Information
Located along the San Joaquin river and on the banks of Mammoth Pool Reservoir, the campground sits at an elevation of 3500 feet, offers many recreation opportunities. The campground has 47 sites available. There are both potable water and vault toilets available at the campground. There is a fee required to camp and reserve sites.

The lake allows for fishing, boating, and waterskiing. There are also many hiking trails around the lake. One of the campgrounds is only accessible by boat, making for an interesting camping trip. The lake is also on Minarets Road Scenic Byway so you can make a day trip out of it and visit one of the lake's picnic grounds.
